Blowing buoy

Sunset in Nieuwe Statenzijl together with Ron and Peter.
A nice end of another weird day.

This buoy, made of wood, epoxy and rvs is on the border of drowned and regained land and always points in the direction the wind is blowing. The stronger the wind blows, the deeper it bends.

I have the feeling this could be the last photoshoot out there for some time. The Netherlands are going deeper and deeper into a total lockdown.
Rumours are that tomorrow the government will decide that schools also will close. That's when the impact at home will begin too. Annemarie is a school teacher and Bas and Daan will be at home as well.
My collegue Richard has a cold and is not feeling well, so I can' t be in my office next week. All appointments cancelled.

I guess we all have to bend as deep as necessary until the virus has blown over. Just like this buoy does.

Anyways, it was fun being out there once more. Teaming up with Ron was nice and had been too long. Fun as always.
