Hadrian's Wall

I'd never seen Hadrian's Wall before my trip to Northumberland and although I didn't get to see much, I wasn't disappointed. I was very surprised at the amount of people walking it and some were not young. 

We were on the road by 8am, which enabled us to get to the wall at a reasonable time. It was still very busy, especially at Housesteads, so we didn't stop there. I got a glimpse of Sycamore Gap and the weather was quite dramatic, which I always love. 
This one was taken at Caw Gap and I've left a person (for scale) in the image. Not sure if you'll be able to see him.
