A revitalising Walk

I felt the need to get out in the fresh air and get some gentle exercise today, so B and I walked the circular route around the Bayfield estate, through the pretty Glaven Valley.  This ruined church is in the grounds of Bayfield House, which is now available for weddings, functions, filming etc.  The trees are about to burst into life and so I was glad to capture the subtle shades of winter bark and their sculptural shapes around the church before they broke into leaf.
I felt much perkier once nature had worked its magic on me.
The extra is just a cobweb but it looked very attractive in the sunshine.
