Tent-tastic

Day 1 of lockdown and Danny popped out to get odds and ends and see what the lie of the land was...within not many metres the police had stopped him to ask why he wasn't home - going food shopping is a valid reason & thankfully he had a bag to show his intentions. It's between 500€-2000€ fine if they're not satisfied with your reasons!
So today consisted of a little family devotion, Asha and I creating an oversized snakes and ladders board, playing many many many games, homework, playing in the tent, a family movie....and now, a sleepover in the tent! We'll see if they actually sleep...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A super moving moment at 8pm when everyone went onto their balconies or leaned out of their windows and cheered and clapped for all the medical and emergency staff...lots of whoops and shouts of thanks, clapping...it felt quite emotional...what a gorgeous response to an enforced lockdown. People here seem grateful it's happening.
2) WhatsApp chat with all manner of wonderful people.
3) The peace that has descended on the neighbourhood.
