Railway station

Voerendaal station is the railway station of the South Limburg municipality of Voerendaal. The station is located on the Schin op Geul - Heerlen line, which opened on 1 March 1915.

The station building was built in 1913 by architect George van Heukelom. He was also responsible for the construction of the station Klimmen-Ransdaal, which looks the same after the width and the absence of the left-wing. The building is a national monument and houses an administrative office and practice for personal guidance.

During two fires in early March 2012, the building was severely damaged. The damage has been repaired and the station building has also been restored to its old state.

This is the front view of the street side. At the same time, I will also take a picture of the platform side. It is also very beautiful!
