Mono Monday - Observe

Regular followers amongst you will perhaps observe that I am back house-sitting after the weekend at home. There is a big clue on the bench! ;-)

On our morning walk round the back field I watched as Minty caught sight of and started to chase a deer. (I knew he had no hope of catching it.) When I turned round to see where he was, he was standing very still, having a staring match with said deer with just a few yards between them, then the deer turned very slowly and walked away. With a safe distance between them, Minty then gave chase again. It was like a game and the deer was definitely the winner! :-) Amusing to observe.
