Cannon Hall this lunchtime

A beautiful day and warm in the sun.  We went to buy further stocks for the freezer, as we don’t quite know what will happen in the next few weeks/ months.  We had a lovely time.  It feels so long since we last did anything like that (the persistent rain hasn’t helped).  They have been doing a lot of work in the park and grounds, and it’s now possible to take a circular walk on tarmac paths, so great for us as there is still so much mud around where the lakes have flooded.  They’ve actually cleared out the lakes and the birds were enjoying weed free swimming for once.  I think they were enjoying the sunshine too.  There’s even talk of boating on the lake in the future.

We had lunch too, sat outside in the sunshine.
