A walk through the Gorse

We found a lovely walk this morning through Gorse bushes...that yellow colour is amazing!

We were high above Embleton, near Cockermouth, looking down on the A66. ( It used to be the railway line from Penrith to Cockermouth ).

The lake in the distance is Bassenthwaite...

I am making a rhubarb and blood orange clafoutis this afternoon!
