Farewell Canada

Some of our last glimpses of Canada, on the Powder Highway, alongside the glorious Rockies.  So many scenes are full of grandeur in this area.

There has been an escalation of events in the time we have been in the country.

Canada is heading into lockdown.

All ski fields owned by Vail Resorts (over 30 of them in US and Canada) have closed prematurely for the season. Panorama (not owned by Vail Resorts) followed suit and announced closure, effective immediately.  We had already decided to hasten our departure.

We have self-isolated on our return home, as required.

There are difficult times ahead for New Zealand.
