The Night Bus

After yesterday's long walk (thanks all for your comments) we were back to Deb's Mum's today. These visits are causing us a lot of worry. She is on regular medication for blood pressure, diabetes etc and her meds come in a weekly blister pack. With Coronavirus, they are still willing to deliver to her house, but ring the bell and lay the meds on the doorstep. Two issues here - firstly, shes deaf as a post, so never hears the doorbell, secondly, if meds are on the floor, picking them up would cause a fall!. We tried to get them blister packed for a month at a time, but that seems too difficult. If we go down with Coronavirus, She won't even get her meds.

Trying to do her weekly shop wasn't easy either, the supermarket had no pasta, no bread, no cans, no bleach, so getting enough for a week wasn't easy!

Add to that, her kitchen drain had cracked in the gulley - so we had a guy in repairing that (at huge cost!) for most of the afternoon.

Photography took a back seat until the drive home. The rain started, and the lights of this bus through the wet windscreen looked great (Deb was driving!)
