Social distancing

Today is my birthday!
Chloe got me up at 6am, but was in a very happy mood, so we sat having some cuddles until Thomas and Ben woke up. Ben made us breakfast in bed and I got to open some presents, including some pj's and socks from Thomas and Chloe, trainers from marmoo and cat, crystal art from Tracey and dave and, amongst some other bits, toilet roll from mum and dad!!!
Ben took Thomas to school, it was even quieter than yesterday, only 9 in Thomas's class.
At lunch time we decided to go to the pub, guessing that it'd be quiet so staying away from people wouldn't be too difficult... We were the only ones there!!! I felt so sorry for the manager who was telling us they had 150 booked in for mother's day, but they were down to 40 and the longer we were there more people were ringing to cancel. Understandable that people don't want to take risks, but he was so worried about how they are going to cope.
I went to pick thomas up, and they'd had to mix his class and the class above due to teacher numbers - the few parents there for pick up were discussing how much longer schools could continue..... Home to listen to Boris tell us that schools would close on Friday to ask but those whose parents are key workers.
Strange times ahead...
