More Signs Of Spring

Pat has placemats for just about every occasion throughout the year and today I feature a detail of the first Spring placemat.

Flowers and Rabbits; of course.

The extra shows that our garden daffodils are really beginning to appear in greater numbers.

We are quite happy with the idea of staying at home and entertaining ourselves with various creative activities.

I visited our neighbour Dr Forster who is isolating himself, for what he thought was one week but is now two.

I received this news when I knocked on his door and placed a container with several portions of gluten free home baked cake on the door step.

He is his usual cheerful self and is pleased that his NHS laptop has been delivered and he should soon be able to link into the NHS system to advise on certain operation procedures.

Pat refers to Dr F as "The Sparky For The Brain" . He is certainly a very skilled Doctor. I am certain several patients will be pleased he can be "virtually present" when they are being operated on.

He also advised that daughter E had almost certainly had the Corona Virus and had recovered well.

Daughter L is flying back to Heathrow from Singapore and will immediately be in fourteen day "self isolation". Her wedding in Singapore, due to take place in April has now been put back for a year.

We are keeping in touch with friends and relatives via FaceTime and other phone type apps. We believe that this is very important for everyone who are staying at home.

We chatted with Vladimira in Prague and she is confined to her fourth floor apartment. Luckily it has a balcony and a Patricia Makeover.
