successful foraging today - we found some yeast and some strong flour as well as a chicken (which we're having tonight) and some fillet steak.  treats!

reading: progressing steadily with Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens - an easy read that i'm enjoying.  only let down by superfluous and clumsily inserted bits of rather dreadful poetry.
