Mothra

This little winged creature is an Eight-spotted Forester Moth. Considering it's  size, 0.6 - 1.4 inches (16 - 37mm), this little guy sure gets around. It's range is the Central and Eastern US, up into Canada and down into Mexico.
 I'm sure that they are common around my area and I just haven't noticed them. (Wait, that doesn't sound at all like me!) ;)
