Experiment no 2 and her girlfriend travelled to Sri Lanka on Saturday night - it had been planned for ages.

Whilst they were in the air FCO advice changed to don't go...

Thankfully they got back safely to Manchester this morning via Doha.

If they'd been in Sri Lanka another few hours they would now be in a military run quarantine facility.

We are counting our blessings...
