Pink Snow

Bought some paint (carefully respectful of social distancing and using contactless payment) so I can repaint part of the kitchen during this period at home. A very poor day in terms of actually doing anything though.

Tony will be having violin lessons via Zoom. We all had a bit of fun with that. He may also be getting some online lessons and need to submit work for his (non examined) A levels. We just don’t know. In the meantime he’s applying for part time work at local supermarkets. As some workers self isolate and others have to stay at home to care for young children, the supermarkets are desperate for staff. On the other hand there are a multitude of students as well as pub, restaurant, cinema & theatre staff looking for work.Tomorrow is his last day at school. Such a sad and abrupt end with no parties, no celebrations, no real finish.
