International Day of Happiness

Yes today is International Day of Happiness, and Dame Vera Lynn, on her103rd, called upon the British public to find moments of joy during these hard times.

More than ever I find joy in our garden, and I have three of these beautiful hyacinths in flower today.
I thought they were going to be pink, but they are a gorgeous mix of pink/ purple/blue. Not a colour I have seen before.

Last night our neighbours opposite turned on the Christmas lights on their ash tree.
I thought it was a lovely gesture to cheer everyone up.
However I have since learned that quite a lot of people are doing the same thing.
