Elsa’s Eyes

You can see the scar left from the infection in Elsa’s eye that she had when I rescued her. The vet had said she possibly would lose the eye but thankfully she recovered after treatment. She truly has a rags to riches story because when I found her she was scrounging to live on a farm in Fancy Gap, Va. and now she’s a pampered and loved pet. We even found out several months after bringing her home that she had been shot at one time and still has lead shot in her shoulder that showed up on x-ray! She’s a spunky little cat and I’m so glad she survived and came into my life.
