Donkeyness

While in France visiting my mother, I also visited a friend of hers, Angela. Angela has kept donkeys for many years, but unlike most donkeys, they don't work. Instead they are pets. She thinks so highly of them as companions and friends that she has even written a book about them called 'Donkeyness', which is incredibly interesting and is all about the things that make donkeys so unique and so special.

It sounds odd but after spending some time with them, it really doesn't take long to see the charm of donkeys. And their eyes are amazing!
