Potential vegetables

Soon some of these seeds will be sown, and hopefully in good time we will have lots of veg ready to eat from our allotment plot. Like a lot of people, my friend is planning to grow more food this year. Her partner is keen to dig up their lawn and convert it to veg beds. It's a pretty small lawn, so I've suggested they share some of our space to grow in. 

DH and I spent some more time today weeding, and putting some more path down between the beds. 

There was a fresh load of horse manure, available for anyone to use, prompting an enlightening discussion with another plot-holder about the relative merits of horse, cow and goat manure!
