A seasider's view

Of libraries and colleges

I had some annual leave to use up, so came through to St Andrews for an organised tour of the university libraries.

A busman's holiday, maybe, but very interesting if you like a nosey around libraries and special collections. It also meant I got to stay over with my sister, so all in all, a lovely day.

The train journey through showed a varied travelscape of snowy white-out conditions in some parts, to clear coastal skies and seals basking on rocks.

This is St Mary's College, in the quad where we had a shufty around the St James library earlier in the afternoon.
