A new day dawns.

Just after 5.30am I was alone by the Leg of Mutton Pond in Bushy Park -  no one else had yet ventured in. The swans, barring the one in the photo, ducks, coots and Egyptian Goose family were happily eating their treats leaving me to watch this magical sunrise. This might sound melodramatic, but more than ever I felt so grateful to be  there.

I left the park after an hour or so, going out via the Skylark area. I was really delighted to spot two Skylarks, managing to get a few photos. As these birds nest on the ground we have to keep on the dedicated paths so the photos are heavily cropped - see my extra photos.

I hope you are keeping safe and well. x
