Cleaning Up

As the days pass, more and more changes occur as the UK responds to the pandemic.  We made a choice to keep ourselves to ourselves today.  Other than for a walk we stayed in and with a lovely sunny day it was time to work in the garden.  

We have a couple of patios and this one is our summer evening sunlight trap.  Over the winter the algae builds up on the slabs as there is very little sunlight that reaches it in the winter months.  Here the job is half done indicating the level of impact  the autumn and winter has had on the surface. We’ve still got to remove some black spots that stubbornly held on to the slabs, despite the efforts of the jet wash. It seems this is something that is recognised as a problem, so I’ve ordered some cleaner to help with the final clean up.
