Social Distancing

Whilst we're social distancing we felt the need to get some fresh air and exercise, but didn't want to go down to the beach as we were sure it'd be busy.  So we walked across the fields at the side of the house - only local people tend to walk here with their dogs and because it's not somewhere that people drive too, it's never very busy.

The other advantage is that you can see people coming towards you from a distance away so it's easy to divert and still leave at least the suggested 2 metre distance from anyone.

We walked about 4.5 miles in total and we've decided that if and when I start working from home,  we'll do a circuit in the mornings before work.  We saw our first spring lambs which were really cute and watched one of the racehorses at the local stud farm running and kicking, it was really enjoying itself.

So this view is just behind our house and we feel very lucky that we can escape the madness of what's going on. Just hope not too many people found out about this walk as I've read that so many coastal areas have been hit with tourists this week and I think it's only a matter of time before there's a complete lockdown to contain this problem!
