Day 6

Alan got up much later this morning and said it was the best nights sleep for a while. From that I conclude he is much better.
Odd bits done in the house today a bit of sewing and generally tidying.
After lunch our neighbour dropped off milk ,carrots and rolls for Alan. we are grateful for good young neighbours. Gardening so another bed and half a bed weeded. Need to see how to tackle the weeds under the rose bushes. split a couple of bunches of primulas and cleared blanket weed from the pond which has appeared over the last few days and sat in the sun drinking in the peace and warmth. It was warm despite the frost this morning. From the garden we can see the crane on the building site and they have begun to dismantle it today. will be strange not to see the red light at night. When we next venture up the high street I am expecting to see a big difference on the new estate.
My daughter thinks she may have to close today but doesn't want to. she is cutting her hours this  week and just watching how it all goes.
Alan was given a password for microsoft teams so I am guessing they will continue to have team meetings online.
the extras are miniature crocus and my dropping azalea. If any one can offer any advice as to why it is drooping I would be grateful. In a bed with other rhododendrons and a camelia, gets the same amount of water and light and not crowded. it flowered as normal this February
the main picture is the dogs resting after a sparring match.
Stay healthy folk and thank you for the visits and stars on yesterdays blip
