Blue Monday

Another day spent entirely in our house and garden, this is now our tenth .
Did two lots of washing, sorted some fabric out for Ruby as she has got a new sewing machine ( she is taking textiles as one of her options and now she can do some different projects at home over the next months)
Then a little bit of physio with Mr P as the Physiotherapist won’t be calling anymore.
I am so pleased as he could use a knife and fork correctly for the first time today after his seizure three months ago.

Had one carer this morning, then three telephone calls from our  GP, District Nurse and a councillor from the hospice.
Did some gardening, can only do it in ten minute slots as l can’t leave Mr P for long.
Haven’t left him at all until now but we agree (and family support me in this ) that l need some time outside.
We know we are in it for the long haul.

Had our end of life talks, we had already done this with Mr P in January when he came home from hospital and we know his wishes .
But after reading an article in a newspaper and in light of current events it needed to be revisited and l did mine too.
Better to do it now than in a crisis.

Spotted the Muscari in a window box near my door , easy to photograph because it was at eye level.

Thank you for your stars and hearts x
