My thoughts today.

I know that this photograph was not taken today (sorry) but its subject dominates my thoughts today. Lucy has been told by Emirates that she will be laid off for the next three months on basic pay which is about half her usual pay which includes flight hours. She will have to stay in Dubai for this period but Emirates will continue to pay for her accommodation. She will in effect be in self-isolation as she has her own apartment. 
 
She said that there appears to be no panic buying in Dubai but the police are out on the street questioning everybody and telling them to go home.
