Tiny Tuesday - mystery

Letter received today to say my eye op has been cancelled next Monday as I had thought (hoped!) it would be.  Too close for comfort for doctor and patient for that sort of procedure.  Not sure I will want to go through with it later if we come through this  - the more I think about it, the more twitchy I get!  Today I thought it would be easy to find objects around the house to blip for Tiny Tuesday as I have so may thing lying around, but I struggled with this one as the concept was mystery - so trying to conceal what the small object is..  Not sure if anyone will guess what this is by looking at this section of it!  Thanks to Jensphotos for hosting.
