About to turn

Mrs. Tree

This magnificent bradford pear by our driveway was dubbed Mrs. Tree by our kids years ago. It grows across the yard from Mr. Tree, of course (a cedar). Our region is smothered in pear blossom these days, many from invasive weedy trees that have sprung up all over. Mrs. Tree has grown much taller than most.

Today felt more positive than yesterday, as we all adjust. Feel fortunate to have countryside around us. Went for a good walk, cooked a meal that should provide leftovers for a couple days, planted tomato seeds, got some writing done. Son D. had difficulty with the online link to his guitar lesson, but I think we've sorted out the problem. He went for a run with W. this evening.
