Bees

Unlike Guernsey and the rest of the UK we're not on lockdown, although we're expecting it. Making the most of the good weather we drove out east stopping at St. Catherines to park and then walked to Fliquet where we sat on the beach. We found a lovely sheltered spot and  watched solitary bees flying around and briefly settling on the lichen covered rocks.
We thought we'd pop into a M&S food shop on the way home, but turned around when we saw the queue of people outside. It's a small shop, so they were obviously observing the 2 metre physical distancing rules and limiting the amount of people allowed in at any one time. After sitting on the beach in the sunshine it was a bit of shock to be reminded of what's going on with this horrible virus!!
