Mountain Shapes and Shadows....

...cast from the other side of the valley onto the flanks of the Dents du Midi. The dark blue of the morning sky gave great contrast to the pink alpenglow before the sun came up. I then went back to bed for a couple of hours having had a broken night's sleep with our beautiful attention seeking cat and kitten!
