Together

Today's latte came in a rather appropriate mug for the times – 'Together' by Norman Douglas.
Originally from 1923, the book is a short account (120 pages) of a summer spent in the Voralberg region of Austria, just a few years after the First World War. Full of reminiscence and pithy descriptions of a rural way of life, with reflections on family and local character.
