View over the Village

A busy day, first taking Stan to his interview at Tesco- he’s managed to get 20 hours over 4 days picking out the goods for orders and his hours will be 8:0 am - 1:0 pm .He's pleased and it’s better than taking Universal Credit .

I popped into Tesco and found a very tense scary atmosphere as people moved gingerly round one another - I was buying items for Paul’s Mum.

I had an enjoyable couple of hours preparing some work for my great nieces to do - Katy works for the NHS on Monday and Tuesday so today was the first day of home educating them - challenging ! I really had a buzz from thinking of things to plan again like old times.

Afterwards we had a stunning 4 mile walk around the village on paths through the woods . Lots of violets - white and purple sweet violets - so pretty . There are really ancient trees along the path and the one in extras seemed to have a stag like face !
The little hamlet of Milborne Wick seemed to glow in the sun .
Lots of people out and about walking and riding bikes but all being careful to distance themselves .

Good to see people talking to one another but at a safe distance .
