Flowering Currant

I saw this on our lunchtime walk, and as I'd taken my camera hoping for an image I was rather pleased to see it. We walked to our local park and were surprised to find it quiet. At least we didn't really have to worry about keeping our distance.

I continued to ring friends and family just to say hello, which I've been doing over the last couple of weeks. I'm not that good at texting and prefer a more immediate reaction to any communication.

And more gardening this afternoon to make the most of the beautiful weather.

Although Livvie, our cat, was outside for most of the day, we didn't have anymore tree related incidents!
