I didn't have time to do all the mechanical steps manually, so apprehensively trusted a quarter of our flour reserves to the loaf-machine to see what it was prepared to achieve. It must have been deliberately chilling the mixture to result in something this flat, but despite the density it was extremely tasty and was requested multiple times by small people. As soon as I'm sure there'll be some flour in the delivery order at the week I'll do it again properly, only using the breadmaker as a small, portable oven.
