A 4-spot of a Takeoff

I was just explaining to Lisa the other day that I am beginning to have a sixth sense about when the shorebirds are thinking about taking to flight. I had the "feeling" here, and...VOILA...Harriet the heron takes to the sky. I think with a few more months...I could become the shorebird whisperer.

Believable?

Well, I was telling her that, but in this case...a worker who had just passed me was approaching the post that Harriet was on, so I knew she would fly off. And, I was ready.

I liked the shorebird whisperer story better, and I hate it when the facts get in the way of a good story.
