Hobbs's Run

The Hartley

One of the Blue Mountains' valleys that I don't mention all that much is the Hartley. Strictly speaking it isn't entirely IN the Blue Mountains although bits of it most certainly are. Norma and I are out on our daily excursion and this is a seven image stitched panorama looking due west. Sorry but it's a LARGE job again.

Things are very quiet, I am pleased to report. Most shops are shut, the traffic is sparse and we didn't meet a soul while we were walking. Interestingly the vantage point from which I shot yesterday's blip is now closed, lest visitors, attending the site give the virus to one another. Nonetheless there remain lots of absurd anomalies among the measures being taken. I just wish that planning could be taken out of the hands of politicians who will inevitably face too many conflicting pressures to take timely, decisive action.

Anyway we were out for about 40 minutes total and are safely back indoors again - just a little bit saner than we might have been..
