Tulum Ruins

Took the collectivo (a slightly more ramshackle and random operation than the one at Palenque) north up the coast road to Tulum's very own Mayan ruins. They're hardily on a par with Chichen Itza but the dramatic coastal aspect gives them a charm all of their own. Luckily we were back in good time to carry on practicing my sunbathing for a chunk of the afternoon. Then we ventured off-site for tea only to find that Charley's Vegan Tacos was shut anyway so it was back to the hotel to eat more pizza instead...
