Sombre Sunrise

This morning the sun seemed to be in a darker mood and soon the grey sky took over. The days have been so cold, a bitter easterly wind blowing which at this time of year means put your scarf and gloves on!

We have been catching up with jobs around the house and we are glad that it isn't raining. The roof is still waiting to be fixed and so until that is done we can't repair the lounge wall. We don't expect it to be done anytime soon. We have seemingly grown accustomed to the mess for now. Sometimes it makes me feel a bit like today's sun. Roofing is one job I don't feel I can tackle.

The days all seem similar at the moment and it feels surprising that Friday is here already.  It will be an odd feeling when the clocks change this weekend.
