Flat Rolls

My son managed to get a big bag of flour before the lockdown so I now have enough. Today I made flat rolls. The dough is mixed in the breadmaker with the pizza programme so that the dough is raised only once before forming into rolls. This gives a different texture from twice raised bread. I make them flat so that when they are sliced they fit into the toaster. They are particularly scrumptious when toasted.

Lockdown Day 3: Today was more quiet than Christmas morning. There was a bit of traffic on the highway in the afternoon, but hardly any for the rest of the day. The most noise was made by the birds. Lovely to hear so many, even on a wet day like today.
