Big Red Rooster

Although probably not a descendent of Foghorn Leghorn (the cartoon rooster) the wattle and cockscomb of this super size bird were enough to draw admiring glances from any nearby hens.
Also looking rather silly, in the first extra, an Exmoor miniature  pony regrets calling out the emergency hairdresser for her orange mane highlights.
The above were seen this morning on a long coast path walk (please see second extra.) It was nice and sunny but with a keen wind that discouraged blipping.
