Face of Australia

This is my father-in-law Amos, a dinky-di man of the land, who was born into a family of 10 in a little bush town in northern New South Wales more than 90 years ago. Amos, who fought in Borneo in World War II in defence of his homeland, raised two daughters and a son with his late wife, Ena, to love and honour their God and their country. On this Australia Day, we his family - now including six grandchildren and a growing band of great-grandchildren - offer him our enduring love and respect. We are proud of you, Amos.
