The new normal..

Earlier this month our son P, daughter in law A and A's Mum C spent several weeks touring the South Island. P and A live in London.  By the time they arrived here the coronavirus situation worldwide was changing dramatically. P's health situation puts him in a high risk category.  After days of much soul searching and changing their minds,  they agreed that P should stay here for the time being and A would go take C home and stay with her in the countryside in Germany.  Thankfully after a number of cancelled flights they are now safely home and we are all very relieved.  P is now working from home from the other side of the world, and is baking us lovely fresh bread each morning while we are in lockdown.  It's all very surreal.
