Vermutería

The sun was out today and so were all the neighbours, on their respective roof terraces . . . our wee street probably has never had such a Sunday afternoon community feel for over sixty years!

We had coffee on the front balcony, off our bedroom, and then swept the top terrace ready for a traditional Catalán aperitif of vermut/vermouth garnished with orange slices and olives, cockles, mussels, more olives, sheep’s cheese and potato crisps. It was lovely to sit in the sun and get some vitamin D as well as say hello to the neighbours, from afar.
