On the Rise...At the 'Rise

This is Lawrence the blue heron, and he wasn't crazy about my being around so early in the morning.

"Why are you hounding me...
are you some kind of chump?
Why are you hounding me...
as I make my stump jump?



"Why are you stalking me...
are you some kind of peeper?
Why are you stalking me...
as I become a bird leaper?"

44 minutes I waited for Larry to make a move. 44 MINUTES! So, what does he do? Jumps 3-4 feet to the higher perch.

I finally left to go sit in my chair.
As far as I know...he's still up there.

P.S. This guy is named after Leaping Larry Chene, a "pro" wrestler of my youth.
