Went to Kenya in the 80s and bought some spears, like you do. I remember declaring them at Heathrow before getting a flight home and remarking that I was unlikely to hijack an aircraft with a spear. The bloke looked me in the eye and asked if I wanted to make my flight. I bet he’s high up in counter-terrorism now!
