Newhaven Lighthouse (1839).

There has been a safe berth and dwellings at Newhaven (1mile nw of Leith, Edinburgh) since 1511, its proximity to Edinburgh made it popular.
As a dock it still has a few small boats, but it has a look of having seen better days.
The area is now being gentryfied with modern high cost dwellings springing up in the areas adjacant to the old dock.
