Oishi ebi!

I could eat all of these, each and every last one. Yum.

Trip to See Woo this afternoon, a Chinese supermarket in Glasgow where, after literally years of pining, I was able to purchase okonomiyaki sauce! Woohoo! I've tried making my own but it's just not the same. Okonomiyaki is the Japanese equivalent of a pizza or kebab after the pub. It's a kind of cabbage and onion batter, fried like a pancake with prawns, bacon, okonomiyaki sauce, mayo and fish flakes. You can have anything you like on it really. It is beyond delicious, especially with an ice cold beer.

Glasgow is crying out for an okonomiyaki restaurant. Someone out there say you will. I'll be your best customer, I promise!
