Wave of translation

This is a brass plaque on Exchange Place (former site of the Fountainbridge meat market in Edinburgh). It shows the outline of the Union Canal which runs from Edinburgh to Glasgow. Snapped it on my way back from the bank this morning... Sorting out my finances on the last few days before pay day seemed wise. Then realised I've been paid and things aren't so bad after all!
