Mother’s Day

I baked a lemon and lavender cake and took it over to them with a little trough of Muscari and a few provisions and stood up on the lawn while they stood at the back door. Dropped into their village shop to get a few things Mum was somewhat specific in her request - can you get some Warburton seeded sliced. Hollow laugh from Lee in the Hambledon shop.  Now lockdown is announced I clearly I  am not going back to London now   I hope I have enough clothes to last.  Vikram and I walked up Park Hill which was beautiful in the sunshine.
